About the exam

There are three sections to this exam:

•Case Management- This section consists of twenty stations (10 simulated patient encounters, and 10 Post-encounters), testing case history skills, orthopedic, neurological and physical examination. You are expected to perform procedures or answer questions pertaining to clinical situations.

•Technique- This section consists of five stations (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, pelvic and extremity). There will be two set-ups at each station, and you are graded on patient, Doctor and hand placement, and line of drive.

•X-ray Interpretation and Diagnosis- There are 5 to 10 stations with radiographs. You are to identify "common" clinical, precautionary or emergency conditions indicated on the films and may be asked to answer related questions.

 

All stations are timed.
